4 Days Community Experience and Golden Monkeys
Day 1: Pick up and Transfer to Muhanga at azizi Life Experience
in the morning after breakfast, you will be picked at 7Am top and rive to Southern province of Rwanda and Azizi life, to have village experience with Azizi cooperatives, you will then walk to you rural hosting community and be welcomed by cooperatives, you will meet family home of your host for introduction, and add a bit of traditional dress to attire your, and help with preparation of your lunch time meal., on this day you will also go to coffee fields for weeding and harvesting, of the coffee cherries. you will also involve in cooperative activities such as weaving, family activities, cutting glasses and so on, later you will start to prepare for dinner and looking for fire wood and fetching water to be used, and later you will spend overnight there. Overnight at Village.
Day 2: Village morning, and transfer to Musanze town heading to the lakes
In the morning, after experience of Overnight Stay at village, you will prepare for breakfast together and share with your host family a cup of coffee, then back to azizi life for sharing your experience and then drive to Musanze, heading to the side of twin lakes have boat ride to Cyusa Island, where you will have lunch and overnight at Cyusa island.
Day 3: Golden monkeys trekking and transfer to Gisenyi
In the morning after breakfast, you will take boat leaving Cyusa islanda, and then drive to Kinigi Reception for briefing about golden monkeys, at 7:30 Am, after you will drive to the starting point with park guide, where you will leave cars and stat walk into the forest for golden monkeys trekking, those are one of primate species, they are very stubborn as they keep on moving from one trees to another, they are having golden color almost whole body which is the source of their name. then later you will have lunch and drive to Gisenyi for evening stay, overnight and Dinner at the chosen hotel.
Day 4: Pfunda tea Visit and Experience, Back to Kigali
In the morning, you will enjoy breakfast at lake kivu, and then drive to Pfunda tea plantation for starting visit at farm, try harvest with local people, experience how harvesting of tea leaves be done, then later transfer to pfunda tea factory to experience the production process of Rwanda tea, you will have lunch over there with local people, then drive back to Kigali for drop off at international airport or at the hotel.
